If you asked me 6 years ago, “Where do you want to be in 5 years?” I would’ve answered as straightforwardly as possible: an architect. Period. How do you think that went? …probably not so well, because life had other plans—and those plans included putting out this little piece of my heart that I now call Studio Otso. 🥹

Funny how we forget how far we’ve come until we finally pause and look back. It’s not often that I come across little reminders like this, so I thought I’d share something to gently brighten your feed today. 😌

A little throwback to our Japan field trip last year. 🚌 so much inspiring culture, beautiful art, and most of all.. delicious snacks 😋🍡

Going through life and travel as creative people is such a wonderful and immersive experience each time. 🥺 As designers, we personally draw so much inspiration from our surroundings — like the way that Japanese design is so intentional about everything is something we sincerely want to cultivate in our work/life as well. Always intentional, never rushed. 🫀

Can’t believe this was a year ago but also can’t wait to be back soon 😌
